Looking for a romantic date night in Waikiki that goes beyond dinner and a movie? A Valentine's Day dinner cruise aboard the Star of Honolulu pairs a sunset over the Pacific with an island-inspired meal and live Hawaiian entertainment — the kind of view you simply can't get from a restaurant table on land. As the Captain steers past Diamond Head and the Kahala Gold Coast, you'll watch the sky shift from gold to pink while Waikiki's skyline begins to glow behind you.

Whether you're planning a first Valentine's together or celebrating a decades-long love story, our three dinner tiers — Pacific Star, Three Star, and Nova Five Star — give you the flexibility to choose the evening that fits your celebration. Valentine's Day Cruise FAQs

What is the Celebration Plan?

The Celebration Plan is a romance add-on available on Three Star and Nova Five Star cruises. It includes a private window table (seating up to 8 persons, or center seating for 9 and above) and a complimentary memory photo for two. It is priced per person and requires a minimum of 2 guests. The Celebration Plan is not available on Pacific Star cruises.

What's the difference between Pacific Star, Three Star, and Nova Five Star?

Pacific Star is our casual buffet-style dinner with a Polynesian show. Three Star is a deluxe 5-course plated dinner featuring a whole Maine lobster and tenderloin of beef, paired with live jazz and our "Moku Ola" show. Nova Five Star is our signature experience, with a 5-course dinner of Maine lobster and USDA Prime tenderloin of beef, super premium beverages, live jazz, and your own private table in the exclusive Super Nova Room.

Is round-trip transportation included?

Transportation is not included in the cruise price but is available as an add-on from Waikiki, priced per person. An additional usage fee may apply for some hotels — please see our transportation schedule for details.

What should we wear?

Resort casual attire is recommended. On cooler evenings, we suggest bringing a light jacket, especially if you plan to spend time on the open-air decks.

What time should we arrive?

If you're arriving via your own transportation, please check in at Pier 8, Aloha Tower Marketplace, 45 minutes before departure. The cruise departs at 5:30PM and returns at 7:30PM.

Is the Star of Honolulu accessible?

Yes. The Star of Honolulu is Hawaii's only A.D.A. compliant vessel of its kind, featuring 3 types of stabilizers for smooth sailing. Accessible accommodations are available upon request with 24 hours advance notice.

What if it rains or the weather is bad?

The Star of Honolulu is stabilized for smooth sailing in Hawaiian waters and is certificated to sail beyond Diamond Head. The Captain may alter the route or cancel the cruise depending on weather conditions, and sunset views are not guaranteed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full amount. For parties of 10 or more, please inquire about our group cancellation policy.
