Each year, the great Humpback whales travel over 4,500 miles from their summer feeding grounds of Alaska to the warm waters of Hawaii. • Always respect their space by participating in responsible whale watching activities. Current guidelines require us to remain at least 100 years from Humpback whales as a way to respect their environment and maintain their safety.
• Bring your binoculars! Because you may be spotting them from a distance, packing a pair of binoculars will allow you to observe them from a safe, recommended viewing distance.
• Get your cameras ready. When joining us on either our Early Bird Whale Watch or Premier Whale Watch cruise, you will have many opportunities to snap photos of these majestic creatures. Make sure to use a fast shutter speed to keep images clear and have your zoom lens on to be prepared to take some breathtaking photos!
